Displaying a green maroon black and white beadwork band across the hand these dark brown Astis leather gloves are named for Mount Muttler. Muttler is the highest mountain in the Samnaun Alps. It is located south of Samnaun in the Swiss canton of Graubunden.
Astis leather gloves are hand-sewn in the USA from dark brown high-quality suede leather with hand-stitched beadwork on the wrist and are lined with Polartec® Thermal Pro® High Loft insulation. Working directly with a tannery in the USA we developed a suede leather injected with silicone during the tanning process for further waterproofing that is extremely durable yet retains great dexterity.
As each leather glove is hand-sewn and uses natural materials each leather mitten will possess slight variation in the look of the leather and beadwork. Astis embraces these subtle differences and views them as unique gloves more akin to works of art.
